Ballymena Golf Club

Founded in 1903 and situated only 15 mins walk on the western boundary of Broughshane sits 'Ballymena Golf Club'.

The entire course is dominated by its stunning view of Slemish Mountain which is world renowned due to its association with Ireland's patron saint, Patrick, and offers a superb scenic backdrop to enhance your round.

Ballymena Golf Club has a founded reputation for being one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Northern Ireland.

At 5,300 Metres it's not the longest of courses but with narrow tree-lined fairways, numerous bunkers and small greens scoring is not as easy as it's length might suggest.

Ballymena Golf Club offers modern facilities to include a bar and restaurant. For tourists and visitors to the area, Ballymena Golf Club has a fully-stocked Pro-shop with trolleys, clubs and buggy hire.

The Club is known for it's warm and friendly welcoming atmosphere so it is very popular with visiting societies from across the UK and Ireland. Membership is open at the moment both playing and house and available for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Among the other activities available are snooker, bridge and indoor bowls. Function rooms are also for hire.
